Welcome to The Warner FOUNDATION! We are a nonprofit organization committed to empowering youth who face challenges like bullying, poverty, mental health illness, drug addiction and much more. By partnering with local public schools we offer Career Technology Education (CTE) to elementary and middle school students, educational interventions, engaging after-school activities, and enriching summer programs. Together, we aim to create an environment where young people can thrive and build brighter futures together. Join us in making a positive impact in our community!

Founder/CEO

THE WARNER FOUNDATION

Manuel W. Warner, M.Ed.

My professional career highlights  my passion in leadership, teaching and directing young leaders to rise from any situation to become innovative thinkers and leaders. I have worked in communities that have immense  poverty, staggering numbers in violence and high numbers in student homelessness. I began my educational journey teaching third grade in Grand Blanc, Michigan. My  work reaches into  cities such as Chicago, IL, Topeka KS, Flint MI, Las Vegas NV, Albany NY and Roswell, NM.  I have educated kids in communities that are 100% free and reduced lunch, 100% Black and Brown, 80% English Language Learners, 98% Caucasian, and more than 35% receiving special education services.  I have lead in positions as High School Administrator, Middle School Administrator, and other various administrator and teaching positions in public education.

I have taught collegiate courses in the department of college of education. As a college instructor at the University of Illinois at Chicago , I'm proud to have been apart of a dynamic team that developed a pipeline of educational leaders in urban education that focused on social justice. I supervised over 70 collegiate juniors and seniors that have now graduated with professional education licenses that have careers as college deans, professors, school administrators, teachers and many other education positions.
